The FQ Academy provides a clearer development pathway from community football to Australia’s national teams and professional leagues for Queensland footballers aged seven to seve.

All junior players involved in FQ’s regional TSP and SAP programs now form part of the top tier of the FQ Academy, while clubs within the existing SAP Leagues and NPL/FQPL Junior Leagues will transition to new FQ Academy Leagues.

The FQ Academy delivers a more consistent and visible pathway for aspirational footballers which is quality-controlled and accredited by Football Australia, and consistent with the advanced junior structure already in place in South East Queensland.

The FQ Academy system is Football Australia‘s recognised talent pathway for young players across our state, which aligns the Queensland player pathway with the national development and Talent ID system, linking outstanding junior players to Australia’s national teams.
